Chris Hendricks is the President of Duncan Supply Company which is a wholesale distributor of refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment that has been family-owned and operated since 1940.
In this episode, you’ll hear Chris tell us about making his career decision at age 18 to eventually take over the family business, about some of the things that they do at Duncan to be intentional about taking care of their employees including still offering a fully funded company pension, and about working his way up through each role in the business and some of the lessons he learned along the way, including feeling frustrated that a path wasn’t set for him to work his way into taking over the President role from someone who held the position for 47 years, but later understanding how it was beneficial to him.
