Circle City Success

Apr 3, 2019

You know the old saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”? Well, Aaron Marshall (you might know him as the recording artist Double A) is making a living off of selling vintage clothing and streetwear that he and his parents find in their searches across Indianapolis. Naptown Thrift started in a small closet-sized storage unit in 2015 while Aaron was a student at Butler when he and his parents realized that they needed a place to store all of their finds from their thrifting adventures. Through word of mouth and Instagram, they grew the storage unit into a business that now has a brick and mortar location in Broad Ripple.

In this episode, you’ll hear Aaron speak about the background of Naptown Thrift and how his and his parents' love for thrifting turned into a business, some of the things he’s experienced through getting the business up to speed, and a little about his success in Indy’s local music scene and how that has benefited his business.
