Jim Miller is a retired social worker, counselor, and executive among other things with a passion for building relationships and helping others. From starting out pursuing a college degree in chemistry and switching halfway through, to working his way up to become the President of the Family Service Association of Central Indiana, to running his own consulting firm providing services to nonprofits, Jim has a ton of great knowledge and experience to share.

In episode 36, Jim gave us a glimpse of his career as a social worker, counselor, and executive and told us why he likes maintaining relationships with young people, his background and the progression of his career, and some of the things he learned along the way.

In this episode, you’ll hear him talk about some of the key takeaways and things he’s learned from the Board members he’s worked with, what he feels are his greatest accomplishments, and his definition of success.
