Wendy Noe is the Executive Director at Dove Recovery House for Women, which is a nonprofit that was founded in 2000 with a mission to “help women with a history of substance abuse or addiction become clean, sober, and self-sufficient primarily through providing safe, affordable housing for their recovery.
In this episode, you’ll hear Wendy tell us about how an internship at The Julian Center during her senior year of college led to her passion for helping women and spending her entire career so far in the nonprofit space, about a mentor she had in college who left an impact on her and how when you see her wearing red lipstick today it’s an homage to that mentor, and about Dove Recovery House for Women and how the organization provides free services to women with substance abuse disorder.
