Caleb has differentiated himself from most CPAs through intentional networking and relationship building. In fact, he's been so successful at this that he was recently named Director of Business Development at Somerset CPAs & Advisors. In the first part of our interview with Caleb, he speaks about he actually didn’t feel comfortable doing the typical things that accountants do, but after meeting with a business psychologist he realized that he could provide more value to the firm through business development and networking than through sitting in front of a computer all day. He teaches us that we should have a "giver mentality" in our relationships and that we should be open to coffee or lunch with someone, even if we don't think it will lead to business opportunities.
