Blake Johnson left his hometown of Daleville to attend Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida and upon graduating with a degree in economics and political science he returned to Indiana. Why would he leave the sandy beaches and year-round sun? His love for Indianapolis, our people, and our culture. You can see Blakes passion for our city in his blog article titled Moving? 5 Reasons Why Living in Indianapolis Should Be at the Top of the List.
At the ripe old age of 32, Blake was named as the President of IndyHub, an organization dedicated to growing and empowering Indy’s community of 20- and 30-somethings who are meaningfully connected to and invested in (or who want to be) the city. In this episode, you’ll hear Blake speak about his background and path to becoming the President of IndyHub, which is an organization that represents and advocates on behalf of Indy’s 20- and 30-something crowd and helps to get them connected to our city, why he has such a passion for Indianapolis, and the initiatives of IndyHub and how you can get involved.
