Coach Dave Schrage is the head coach of Butler baseball. He’s taken over the head coaching position at a handful of schools over the years prior to taking the Butler job and has routinely turned around organizations, taking many of them from losing to winning records within a year or two. He’s also coached countless players who have gone on to play baseball professionally.
In this episode, you’ll hear Coach Schrage tell us why the most important part of being a good coach is being involved in players’ lives, why he focuses on education and community service with his players, and about some of the struggles that he’s faced in his life and career along the way.
